
Ambitech Engineering Corporation today announced that Ms. Nia Smith (B.A., M.A.) has recently joined the company’s Human Resources Department as Corporate Trainer. In her role, Ms. Smith will have responsibility for developing and implementing best-in-class employee training programs to enhance Ambitech’s already successful efforts of integrating employees into the organization’s performance and service oriented culture.
Ms. Smith is an accomplished training professional who has extensive experience and expertise in training development, organizational design, change management and human performance. Prior to joining Ambitech, she spent four years as Human Performance Consultant for Accenture Consulting, where she developed training programs for several companies including SBC, PacifiCare, and Walgreens. Most recently, Ms. Smith worked at Sears Holding Corporation as a Management Trainer where developed and facilitated leadership and technical training for over 1000 management level employees. Ms. Smith is a member of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) which is the world’s largest association dedicated to workplace learning and performance professionals.
